I got to see a lighthouse for the first time today.

Oh God. I'm a lighthouse, you're the ocean. I exist only to ward off your dangers. You hit me again, and again and again until you wear me down. How many years until I'm worn down and washed out to sea?

I want to be somewhere it snows so badly. I've been able to see snow one (and a half?) times since I've been here and something about it is so serene and peaceful. It's such a wonderful contrast to the desert

I don't smoke, but I wish I did. I'm reminded of him by the scent of cigarettes. Days like these are hard to find joy in, when there's an empty spot here on the couch. No one touches their glass to mine. It's a quiet, silent night.
