when it came to tall-men, much like his own kin, they came in all shapes and sizes. chilchuck himself could be considered rather tall for his race and while he did struggle to really know what was normal for the other races, experience told him that laios was definitely on the taller side. of course, without his old friend present it was harder for chilchuck to accurately judge, but if he wasn't much mistaken, this stranger was even bigger than that blockhead was.
but that wasn't the main thing that had caught his attention about this guy who shared the waiting room in the police station with him. an unfortunate misunderstanding had landed him here, and whilst the organisation serving as this city's guard force had him on old for it, he was trying his hardest not to eye the metallic arm of the patron next to him. the part of chilchuck that absolutely loved tinkering couldn't help but want to understand how it worked and was crafted, but he had enough social awareness to not just blurt it out. instead, he tried with some awkward small talk.
"soooo... why did they bring you in here?"
