This is a fashion post endorsed by Vasha Dahnika.

So first of all, her “work” outfit.

She generally wears serious combat boots with a visible knife in one of them, dark leggings in a durable fabric, and knee-pads a la Mandalorian. Her top is long, stretchy, and high-necked and she typically has light armor covering her chest and back. Sometimes she’ll wear elbow-pads as well. Her gloves are very well-worn and have metal plates hidden in their backs. (All visible metal is painted with a non-shine deep grey paint. It looks kind of shitty after a while, but it gets the job done.)

Her lightsabers hang on either side of her hips with interlocking belts that also carry a bunch of useful pouches, and the pouches have straps belted to her thighs so they don’t slide around. She carries a hold-out blaster in the small of her back.

All if it is covered by a variant on this coat. The neck is perfect and it can be drawn up over her head in a deep hood, but overall it’s looser and longer, to help disguise the shape of her body and the weapons she carries.

Over all, her equipment is expensive, well-cared-for, and well-used. The majority of it is custom made for her. She gets extremely pissed when something burns or cuts her coat.

Her “casual” outfits tend to be loose-fitting shirts and tight pants. It’s a rare day when she doesn’t have some kind of weapon hidden on her person. If she can’t carry a light saber openly or conceal it somewhere on her body, a small blaster will do. And she always has at least one knife.  A lot of the stuff Howl wears is exactly her speed.

Depending on what she’s doing it could be more colorful or less, but she almost always covers her arms and chest completely. You don’t get your ship blown the fuck up by your apprentice without collecting some brutal scars, not even counting everything before that or since.

For everyday makeup she tends to go with red lipstick and a touch of eyeliner. The more she expects to rely on her appearance, the more her makeup will reflect that. (On “work events” she typically sticks to the eyeliner. It’s waterproof and it can be very useful for people to be able to see her expression at a distance.)

She generally sleeps in her leggings and shirt. If she feels safe, she’ll sleep in her underthings. She doesn’t actually have much in the way of pajamas- if they’re necessary, she’ll typically borrow something from Bastila or Carth. (She has to roll up the sleeves and bottoms of Carth’s pajamas. He thinks it’s hilarious.)

For high formal affairs, Vasha prefers bold colors and slinky dresses. While her everyday is rather nondescript, she goes exactly the opposite for formal things. Expect the color red, gold jewelry, plunging necklines, and tall heels. (She’s gotten very good at using make-up to cover up all the scars she’s acquired.)
