7 alphys, 10 papyrus, 14 muffet? I really dig what ur doing w these and I'm intrigued so I sent another batch :'D

What would cause Alphys to become evil? A bit of a tricky one, considering that she’s kept herself together after everything. But I think it boils down to what you would consider “evil.” To the humans, an evil queen would be one who broke an ancient contract to stay safe and hidden away, who came out of the mountain without an army so that she could have the satisfaction of killing one child herself. An evil queen stands over a body, still convulsing from the electricity running through it, and doesn't so much as blink at the blood coming from where her attacks cut the child. An evil queen holds a grudge, and fulfills her promises. Her only satisfaction is knowing that everyone will be safe. 

She does not reap a SOUL from this, for the child no longer has one to give. 

If Papyrus had all his power taken away, I think he'd be very inconvenienced, and would possibly become a designer of puzzles! Or, an average salaryman! Riding on a train filled with spikes... what a life... Of course, if the Royal Guard was a stretch before, it would be near impossible to join, now. 

If Muffet became a ghost, I am certain of one thing: in addition to bake sales, she would offer a service where you can either make a donation to her spider charity or suffer a ghost trying to, er, “find the right body.” This... doesn’t go well for anyone but her.

not only was this a terrible and unnatural decision on your part, but if I could ask Mr. Fox one question, I would probably want him to explain Froggit anatomy to me.

Both 1 and 5 for both Toriel and Napstablook (and Gerson if you wanna)!

I have two ideas for an evil Toriel: she’s a menace to the Ruins, killing the humans as soon as they fall, or she’s a queen with an iron fist who has a dungeon. In the former, Flowey warns you to run and hide, and when you reveal that you want to leave Toriel or when you try to separate from her, she will try to hunt you down. If you stick with her, she will try to poison you. You have to flee from her. 

In the latter, she does not give you a chance to turn back. You are fully expected when you enter the throne room, and your chance to flee is blocked by a wall of fire. Asgore still lives in the castle, but he is not often remembered by the people; some even forget that he’s still around. He spends a lot of time in his garden, which is difficult to get to and was a very special allowance from Toriel (she still hates it). 

(These are so much shorter, oh man.) As a kid, I imagine Toriel had a lot of exposure to humans, and was heartbroken when the war started. I think she was smart as a child, read a lot, gained a large vocabulary, but she was very sweet. Her fondness for the human children despite her loss comes from her childhood. 

Napstablook as a child is either a very small pillowcase or… a child. Saw a theory once that the ghosts represent the fallen children, I think about it sometimes. As an evil ghost, Napstablook would be… almost the same? More like an aesthetic. Really doesn’t care anymore, would watch you die but wouldn’t try to bond with any of your stuff because it doesn’t matter. 

And last, the wonderful Gerson! He was mostly just fun to draw. Lil baby turt vs ABSOLUTE SNITCH WHO WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU.

oh sorry ur sick, get better soon! but anyway, my question is probably very broad so do w it what you will -- what do you think would be the major switches or major differences from the original? apart from the switching of fates of Chara and Asriel (i hope i remember it right). Like really the few key ones?

Aww, thank you!! I’m feeling much better today, but rest is still important!!! 

I’m still debating on some of the characters, since I don’t want to switch personalities but roles, but here’s a few that I have for certain: 

- Toriel: Queen of the Underground. A kindly monster ruler who holds a strong grudge against humanity. Is there a way to appeal to her heart, or does she even have a heart to appeal to? 

- Asgore: Caretaker of Home. A big, fuzzy pushover with a love for gardening. He only wants you to be safe. 

- Undyne: Rogue Protector. Unable to join the Royal Guard, she does what she can, when she can. She hopes to one day prove herself capable of becoming a Guard member. 

- Papyrus: Captain of the Royal Guard. Eager to please, happy to help. Definitely is not secretly friends with Undyne, which isn’t even worthy of being a topic in conversation because it’s so far-fetched, why are we still talking about it? 

I’m not sure if I want to switch everyone and everything, I don’t want to stretch it too far, you know? I’m very indecisive ^^” And there’s a few things I want to change around, but I need to figure out how it’d work out. I have bits and pieces of different scenes in my head, but I need to figure out how to write/draw it properly.

i need more of whatever you're doing :D, so how about Alphys? that's a complicated one for me tbh (and i have one more idea but idk if i can send more than one ask :'D)

Alphys is a bit of a discomfort, honestly. Even strictly within the context of what I have played, she makes me uncomfortable. It’s nice and all that she completely remodeled my phone, equipped me to handle Mettaton, is trying to be helpful during puzzles and has added me as her friend online, but… I don’t like all of that. I dislike being stopped every time she makes a post about me. Super annoying!!! Not that those are the only things, but like. Yeah. Discomfort.
