I find it really interesting that there's THREE independent secret villains in the crime au. If the agents figure out one of them, they'd have no reason to expect two more of their techies are unrelatedly guilty. Sure, this one guy's a rotten apple, but they can still trust everyone else, right? Right?

Right?

As Long as there was no Hard or direct evidence that any one of them left were the other criminals in question, the agents don’t have any reason to investigate them

But it does hurts. It hurts

The implication that all of this time the answer was right in front of them hurts.

It hurts that the people they consider friends after all this time, sharing secrets and pains and laughs, we’re the ones causing harm to others, to some of them. It really is painful

Thankfully the others are safe, right?

My OC Maven is from a race of beings made of living mineral, who live underground and somewhat resemble human skeletons. She is a Guardian of Passage, meaning that she is a for-hire bodyguard who protects travellers from subterranean monsters. She is well-regarded in her community for her skills and experience. While not the most empathetic, she is dedicated to her role as Guardian and does everything she can to keep those under her protection safe. (Thank you for the invitation!)

Maven sounds like a badass. Does she do her job for the money or for the honour of protecting people?

Also are the living mineral people each made of a specific mineral or made up of a mix of minerals each? (Like do you get folk who are mainly made from iron ore, opposed to others who might be aluminium or copper?)

1. Do you think aliens exist, and if so, what are they like?

I’m kind of...agnostic on the existence of aliens, I guess? I don’t strongly think they should exist, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they did (more surprised that the moment of discovery would happen in my lifetime - that’s kind of an astonishing generation to be a part of). 

If aliens do exist, they will utterly surprise us, and we’ll learn to think about life and intelligence in ways we never considered. 

2. If you could learn any language overnight, real or fictional, which would you want it to be?

For a real language, Georgian is famously hard to learn but I’ve always been kind of fascinated by it ever since I saw what their script looked like (they also have words that begin with 8 consonants in a row):

Fictional, the alien language from Arrival. (Such a good movie, I don’t want to elaborate and spoil it)

3. Would you rather be able to shapeshift or turn invisible?

Shapeshift. Much more flexible, and, depending on the rules, you could basically get invisibility for a lot of situations, too. Just turn into an insect. (I’d probably use it to turn into a bird, mostly, though)

4. What’s your favorite smell?

Tea, probably. Also rainy weather. 

5.  What was your favorite childhood movie?

The Incredibles. (Still astounded by it every time I rewatch it, really.)

6. What’s a family tradition you want to keep up through your adulthood?

Starting Christmas eve dinner by turning out all the lights, then lighting candles one by one as we read scripture

7. If you could marry any fictional character(s), who would it be?

Hmm, this isn’t something I really think about much. Endeavor Morse is an exception that comes to mind.

8. What do you do to relax?

Make a cup of tea, put on music or an audiobook, find something to do with my hands, or some kind of puzzle game.

9. Fruit or vegetables?

Can I say both?

10. What kind of games do you like playing with others?

Well, in general I love playing games with people (especially complex ones like Betrayal at House on the Hill), but nothing quite matches playing dnd. Probably prefer being a player, but I like dming almost as much. (I miss my dnd group! We’ve been playing over discord but it’s not the same :/)

Your comics are so nice to look at. Solid lines, easy on the eyes, the blocking moves intuitively and has some really good "wham shots." Even the smaller sketchy ones are just so visually delightful. On a character note, it's really cool to see Rose as an active participant in the story, with a full-fledged personality, and not just the various impressions OTHER people had of her. I'm also really curious about how CG Pearl might interact with Greg since he's not her rival in this AU.

Just finished Dogs of Future Past, and my favorite plot twist was that it was a Toby Fox origin story all along.
