5:38:10 of the VOD for C3 E121 Look, I love Laudna but holy shit what a tone deaf, dumbass thing to say!
"Am I wrong to be a little irritated right now?"
YES LAUDNA YOU ARE WRONG! HOLY SHIT! LMFAO! You betrayed these people and you should thank your lucky stars they don't know you guys are lying about having "no other choice" than to release Predathos. Your group should be on every religious group's hit list in Exandria (and probably will be on at least a few of the Betrayer God's lists lol).
There's an argument to be made that releasing Predathos was fine because it was inevitable, I say no, they could have defended the barrier till they got reinforcements in, and the Gods could probably have figured out a new containment method. They had defeated Ludinus, there wasn't a big rush anymore, he would need time to recover. But that's pure speculation on my part.
Either way you slice it, whether you feel justified or not, you still just turned these people's lives upside down and your lack of empathy for their pain and confusion sucks.
It's interesting characterization though; she really does have some arrested development going on. Delilah being in her brain for decades can NOT have helped on the "giving af about stranger's feelings even if they aren't acting how you want them to" aspect of growing up.
This is taped to the walls of Vasselheim
Every day Vasselheim wakes up
The parallels of Vasselheim’s gibbets and Aeor’s gallows…
so the group is in i think vasselheim reply to me if i'm right
Vasselheim, the Dawn City. The capital of human civilization on Issylra. Largely a religious city, with several districts, dedicated to a patron deity. The city is considered the origin of civilization and various religions. Showcase day Oct 25th! -------------------------------------------------------------- If you would like to join this or future fan art projects, please check out our Carrd and DM us for more info!
Essek declined to enter the conference at the Platinum Sanctuary, for his own safety, but I'm rather more worried for Laudna and the Bells Hells generally, if they mention Delilah.
Only the Bright Queen is likely to care about Essek, who would clearly be allied with several other important parties right here at the conference.
Delilah was instrumental in the last (that we know of) world threat that had everyone gather here in Vasselheim. Most of them thought she was gone from then. Most of VM knows she's turned up twice since then, but BH told them she was gone in Whitestone. They're not going to be impressed to hear, "Well, actually that was very temporary, and she started growing in strength again, until yesterday [YESTERDAY!!] E...a wizard helped us subdue her. So we're pretty sure she's really under control this time. Oh, and here's a Herald of Asmodeus we also picked up yesterday. Right, so did you want to hear about the video of the gods that Ludinus showed us in Aeor? When, oh yes, also yesterday."
I think various clerics might be asked to check them for a mass hallucination, and then the decision made to send the lot of them to fight the dead things under the city, if just to get rid of them.
