It's crazy when you remember something vauge from your childhood
When I was a kid, I met an old woman while I was on vacation when my family and I were on a line to see a popular tourist sight there. I remember that I was behind the old lady and I couldn't stop looking at her veins. How they were raised a little and not flat on her hands like my little ones. She noticed me looking at them and asked me If I wanted to touch them. So I did, and it amazed me. They were soft. She then looked at me and said that some day I was going to have those too. And I remember that I was so exited for that day to come.
When I was in my mid teens, I realized that my veins started to raise up a little. Not much, but slightly so that my hand wasn't entirely flat anymore.
And I was happy. Because to me, that was a sign that I was getting older. And that's what came with it.
