Day #3567 This Mortal Coil - 1983-1991 A big giant RIP goes out to Master designer Vaughan Oliver. Those not familar with his work just means you don’t know about his work. Because you most certainly have seen his work. Vaughan was to 4AD records as Peter Seville was to Factory. So integral in what makes a superior label, so fantastic. Where sometimes the album art / package you hold in your hands is at the same level as the sound hitting your ears while you look at it. He did I think every Pixies cover, the Breeders, This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins, Lush, His Name Is Alive, TV on the Radio and a laundry list of others.
