who is the better dancer?
Nicky, mostly because she kinda just sways around a little. Whereas LORNA goes a little overboard from time to time. Mostly encouraged by Nicky, who thinks it’s cute, if not a little dangerous.
who likes the outdoors more and who likes the indoors more?
Nicky is the indoor person. She’d much prefer to chill on the couch and watch TV and eat junk food all day, but Lorna looooves going out. She forces Nicky to walk with her in the park and even convinced her to go camping once (Nicky Nichols will never go camping again).
who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person?
Nicky’s more of a cat person, because cats are quiet and clean and for the most part want nothing to do with anyone. Lorna prefers dogs because they can take a dog OUTSIDE. The worst part is Lorna likes BIG DOGS that take up the ENTIRE bed and leave very little room for Nicky.
who’s more social?
They’re both very social, but in entirely different ways. Whereas Lorna is chatting someone up and making friendly conversation, Nicky’s more of the chime in and make sarcastic comments type of social.
who makes the bed every morning?
Lorna. Nicky make the bed? l o l. Luckily, Lorna is used to it from having to make her bed every day as a kid.
who likes to keep the house cold and who likes to keep the house warm?
Nicky likes it cold. However, Lorna’s tiny body gets cold way faster than Nicky’s, so she forces Nicky to turn the temp up. Then she teases Nicky that the reason she doesn’t get cold is because she has built in insulation with her hair.
who takes longer getting ready?
Lorna, of course. Every detail in her make-up has to be perfect. She can take a good hour to two hours to get ready. Nicky throws on some clean clothes and a few dabs of mascara and is ready to roll.
who likes scary movies and who likes funny ones?
Nicky loves scary movies. Mostly because she knows Lorna gets scared easily and will cuddle up to Nicky for protection. Lorna prefers funny ones, but usually not the ones that Nicky thinks are funny.
who screams when they see a bug and who ends up killing it?
Look, Lorna can be tough when she needs to be, but not when there is a bug involved. Nicky takes great pleasure in coming to Lorna’s rescue and usually tries to turn it into a roleplay (which a very freaked out Lorna is never amused by).
who is more technology challenged?
In terms of the web, Nicky. While it took Lorna a few tries to re-enter the world of technology after Litch, Nicky is still so fucking baffled. What the HELL is a meme? However, in terms of actual technical things and how they work, Lorna is clueless and Nicky knows a little from working in electrical.
who would be more likely to burn something in the oven?
Lorna. Mostly because of the fact that she is the one who does the cooking whereas Nicky doesn’t even go near that. HOWEVER, Lorna’s not the greatest cook. She never really paid attention in Red’s kitchen and only briefly remembers her mother and sister cooking when she was young. If the two of them ever tried cooking together, they’d probably burn the apartment down on accident.
who talks in their sleep?
Lorna. And sometimes she says things that don’t quite sit well with Nicky (maybe she isn’t completely alright yet). Other times she’s rambling about Mr. Snuffles, which is fucking adorable.
who leaves the cap off the toothpaste?
Nicky. And as much as Lorna complains about it, she has done it too on occasion. Nicky loves those little forgetful moments, because she gets to tease Lorna to no end.
who likes getting dressed up more?
Lorna. Nicky prefers getting undressed.
who’s better at tying ties?
Lorna. Only because she has had to tie her father and brother’s ties before. And she may or may not have trained herself to remember so she could do it with Christopher someday (and now it’s just stuck in her head).
who recorded the answering machine message on the house phone?
They did it together, because Lorna insisted on doing one of those cheesy couples message thingys. And Nicky has never been able to say no to her.
who’s better at planning romantic things?
Nicky, actually. Lorna dreams of romance, but her concept of it is warped. Nicky is actually a romantic when she tries, not that she will ever admit it. However, Lorna does bring that side out of her.
who takes up more space in the closet?
Lorna. Most of Nicky’s clothes prefer to occupy the floor, anyway.
who has more of a sweet tooth?
Nicky. Lorna loves to eat, but Nicky is the one who crams junk food down her throat constantly. At least when Lorna is eating a lot, she throws SOME healthy food in there.
who drinks more often?
Lorna. Although she tries not to since she knows Nicky isn’t allowed to drink (but absolutely would if she could; and would drink Lorna under the table too).
who is most likely to laugh during a serious situation?
Nicky. It’s her go-to form of defense.

Why I joined the fandom: I can’t really remember?
