“Best of Show” award at Shannons Tamworth Motor Show for 2018, Robert Lovell from Lismore and the 1925 Vauxhall, number 1115 of exactly 1303 built in the Vauxhall factory in Luton, London. Found in Western Australia and restored over 26 years, the polished aluminium shone in the eyes of the judges to take out the top award this year. Congratulations to the entire Lovell family on a stirling effort to win the ‘Charles Latter’ award, in memory of one of the original motor show organisers, the late Charlie Latter, a member of the Rotary Club of Tamworth West.
