Fashion doesn’t always have to be taken so serious and Gaga is the perfect embodiment of that.
She wore this cool crocodile leather stitchwork paneled belted jacket with 80′s oversized shoulder silhouette, embellished with black & red pumps by French alternative fashion designer Vava Dudu.
Her round gunmetal sunglasses with marble effect arms are vintage Jean Paul Gaultier 569274-4 and are sold out everywhere.
The look was completed with the Cesare Paciotti Musketeer sculpted chain boots which were made for NYC-based label Ohne Titel’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
Lady Gaga premiered the music video to the first single from her ‘The Fame Monster’ EP - ‘Bad Romance’ on November 10, 2009. The video was directed by Francis Lawrence. We can all agree that this was her Opus Magnum.

The video opens up with a scene of Gaga surrounded by her dancers and the Russian mobsters.
She looked opulent in look no. 19 from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 “Plato’s Atlantis” collection: a bronze structured embossed mini dress.
Haus of Gaga designed the razor blade shades and commissioned Tom Talmon Studios to create them. Gaga told MTV, she wanted “to design a pair for some of the toughest chicks and some of my girlfriends — don’t do this at home! — they used to keep razor blades in the side of their mouths”. What she wanted to project is “that tough female spirit. It’s meant to be 'this is my shield, this is my weapon, this is my inner sense of fame. This is my monster'”.
On her nails: Liquid Leather nail polish by China Glaze with gold mesh purchased from Jo-Ann Fabric.
She’s also rocking these Alexander McQueen Titanic pumps above with blue metal heel.
Next, we got the white monsters crawling out of their pads in the dark bath “Haus”. All of them, and Gaga included, wore custom white latex catsuits with bone detail and crowned masks made by Haus of Gaga.
She dances in the Pleaser Delight-2023 vinyl lace-up platform boots in white.
Then Gaga takes a bath in a sheer silicone rubber two piece look comprising a crop top and zip-up mini skirt from London-based emerging designer Rachael Barrett’s 2009 graduatue collection.
The singer also wore the matching Alpine Snow matte nail lacquer by OPI.
To complete the look: Alien-inspired white sculpted Alexander McQueen pumps from the aforementioned collection.
Gaga to the mirror while wearing look no. 33 from Alexander McQueen’s collection which is a short black neoprene dress with strong shoulders, mock neck, leather panels and matching Titanic leggings/boots.
The look was accessorized with a custom black twisted crown by costume and set designer Lauren Machen...
...and the Alpina Goldwing shield sunglasses she got at Jack’s Eyewear in LA.
Next, Gaga dances for the mobsters in a bespoke Franc Fernandez outfit. It includes a crystal mesh top with rose shoulder piece, embellished lace panties and a crown.
Her vintage Burberry trench coat was customized with letters by Vava Dudu and artist Fabrice Lorrain.
Pleaser Indulge-2000 white vinyl knee platform boots and a vintage Butler & Wilson large Daisy couture necklace completed the look.

In this scene our girl wears nothing but a bat-shaped blonde hair sculpture custom-made for the video by Japanese artist Shinji Konishi.
He collaborated with art director Nagi Noda and Asami Nemoto to create 15 animal hairpieces which were presented for the "Animal Behavior" collection.
The boots are a white version of Demonia’s Torment buckled lace-up platform ankle boots.
Gaga poses in her giant technical orbit silver metal bustier bodice designed by Nasir Mazhar in collaboration with the Haus of Gaga.

Keko Hainswheeler created this mask for KOMAKINO’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
The piece is created from rusted nails, washers, safety pins, and grommets layered over a welded frame and trimmed with leather trimming and straps.
Here, she wore black version of the alien platform pumps by Alexander McQueen.
Undoubtedly, the most iconic look from the video. LG wore the final look from Alexander McQueen’s “Plato’s Atlantis” collection which comprises a dress with balloon skirt, puffed 3/4 sleeves, matching leggings and Armadillo boots, all covered in iridescent paillettes.
Gaga crowned her look with the blonde hair Lips headpiece from Charlie Le Mindu’s Spring/Summer 2010 and the aforementioned Alpina Goldwing shades.

We’re almost done. Gaga struts down dressed in a white version of the above pictured polka dot lace and silk bow bra by Agent Provocateur, a large faux polar bear coat from Benjamin Cho’s Spring/Summer 2005 collection and the aforementioned white pumps by Alexander McQueen.
Her white rat headpiece with red crystal-embellished tail is by RP/Encore, a hand-crafted jewelry brand by Reid Peppard who specializes in taxidermy. These came from roadkill!
She’s also wearing the white Carrera Champion/P 8TA sunglasses!
Yuri Bradac, who plays the head of the mobster gang, wears a gold metal chin strap designed by Manuel Albarran.
The video takes a dramatic turn. For the last dance scene, our girl wears a bespoke Alex Noble strapless red elastic cage bodysuit, deconstructed and customized with lace insets by the Haus of Gaga.
The Indulge-2000 knee-high platform boots by Pleaser completed the look.
