they are actually worse-looking now than they were when I showed them to you. I’m impressed and actually sort of into how it looks, although it is v. painful and makes my chest look weird-shaped

04: Have you ever thrown a book across the room?

Not that I can remember. I’ve wanted to, but the copy of Fifty Shades of Grey I own is a PDF and I’m not throwing my laptop across the room.

08: What’s the best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten?

Can’t remember.

17: Would you like your books to be turned into TV shows, movies, video games, or none?

I could see some of the stuff I made being movies. I don’t know if I’d want a whole TV series -- I’m really nitpicky and too much of a control freak and would want to write/adapt EVERY EPISODE which is ridiculous -- but I could definitely see a longish Gareth story being adapted into a slow-paced True Detective type dealio.

I have never considered any of my stories being made into video games, but honestly given the lack of plot they often have that. . .might work? Haha.

Whatever it was, I’d want to be involved in the production as much as I could be.

25: What advice would you give to young writers?

Read a lot. Write even more. Seek out other writers and befriend them so you can exchange manuscripts. If you feel like you’re so out of words that you can’t write any more, go read some more or hang out in a public place and people-watch.
