KyAnne hadn't been to a ball since her own victory ball. It was obvious she was uncomfortable with the dress she had been forced into. She could barely breathe. She tried to stand straighter in hopes that would make it easier to breathe. Her eyes flitted over the crowd before she spotted an avox carrying a tray of drinks. She reached out and snagged a drink, bringing it to her lips to take a slow drink of the liquid. She didn't notice someone approaching, having zoned out, until she realized someone was saying her name. "Sorry, I'm sorry, what was that?"
110th Annual Victor’s Ball - Avox Uniform
Augustus sat at a table, he was still upset over another one of his failures, this year deeply affecting him. He was trying to make himself look happy, but it just wasn’t working. Seeing someone walk over he game them a faint wave.
Clio was all smiles at the ball. It was his big debut as a Stylist, and he was proud of his first year’s work. It was actually his sister Alexandria who gave him the idea. Smiling when he saw a familiar face. “Isn’t this whole thing like Cinderella? It’s so wonderful!”
Telle was back in the Tower for the first time in six months, and she was on edge. She’d spent her time since the end of the Games in the Mansion, and being back here put her on full alert for her peacekeeper friend. She hadn’t seen him since that night, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t try anything now that she was here again. Still, she tried to keep her confidence as she wandered around the ballroom, handing out drinks to the guests.
Cora wandered around the ballroom, a smile painting her lips. Noticing someone familiar, she skipped over, grinning. “Do you still recognise me?”
She'd felt awkward the moment she stepped through the doors, having lost sight of Rafi and Isabelle already off trying to make sure Chip didn’t fall apart at the final hurdle. She had barely seen either of them since they had arrived that day in the Capitol, and she had only heard snippets of what happened on tour. Still there she was, trying to put in a show of support for her native district despite having not stepped foot in there in over a year. She fiddled with the mask at her eyes, grabbing it irritably as she muttered, “This is stupid–”
