Trixanna had given up a lot time ago on helping tributes that didnât want it. If they wanted to hide in their own room and work on their own, then so be it. So when she realized she hadnât seen either of her tributes since getting off the train, she had gotten dressed and went out into the Capitol. Val was home sick so Trixie had gone off to get her a doll to take home. The little girlâs collection was becoming quite vast, but she enjoyed them and Trixie had a very hard time telling her daughter no.Â
She came back into the tower, doll box held under her arm. Sheâd been on her way back to the second floor when she noticed Lana. Walking over, she sat the box down and shrugged out of her coat before sitting next to the younger woman. âSeen either of the kids yet?â She asked, rubbing her hands together to encourage some sort of heat to form. She had always hated the cold.
âNope.â She replied, popping the âpâ sound. It was frustrating, really. These kids were supposed to be the best District Two had to offer, and yet they couldnât seem to find the motivation to come out of their rooms. If they hadnât turned up by the time training started, Lana would have to focus her attention on other Districts. She sure as hell wasnât going to sit around doing nothing for the next two weeks. She got bored easily, and didnât fancy feeling bored at the moment. Being in the Capitol was bad enough when she stayed entertained. âItâs like they donât want our help.â She sighed, leaning back into the couch. âWhatâs that?â She asked, gesturing to the box that Trixie had carried in.
