Redecorated my room back at my parents. I finally feel like I'm in my own space 😌 it used to be bright red!! I can finally share most of my collection (still got the skeletons and large skulls to display though!)

30 Days of Vulture Culture: Day 4
How do you display your collection?
I call this the Dead Closet^TM
Soon to be renovated.
Day 4: How do you display your collection? Chaotically!
I'm currently back at my parent's house for the holidays so here's a few quick snaps of part of my bookshelf before I left the house for the journey!
30 Days of Vulture Culture: Day 3
What is your collection mostly; bones, pelts, taxidermy, a mixture?
It’s mostly bones but there’s bits of everything, really! Taxidermy, pelts, pinned insects, etc.
30 Days of Vulture Culture: Day 8
What’s your favourite species to collect, and why?
I only have two so far, but d.ogs!
I just love the subtle differences that make each breed what it is. I hope to get more!
30 Days of Vulture Culture: Day 28
Share a photo of something from your collection and tell us the story behind it.
Ah, my lovely Mephistopheles.
I got him ‘cause @verdantbones was selling him. I saw his picture and thought “boy that’s a cursed object if I’ve ever seen one” and then immediately decided that I needed him. @pyroanimations encouraged this of course and said I should name him Mephistopheles.
I felt kinda weird for buying him at first and tried to hide him because I wasn’t sure how my dad would react but he knows about him now.
30 Days of Vulture Culture: Day 25
Has being involved in Vulture Culture made a positive impact on your life in some way?
Absolutely! I feel like I have more to look forward to each day and I’ve learned so much. It’s also taught me to pay closer attention to the ground so my walks through the woods are slower and more appreciative.
