The blonde keyblade wielder was just as fast as he remembered. Side-stepping swiftly away from a blow, parrying, and countering, Lea managed to huff out a loud laugh. Of course! They’d only sparred once before, but the familiarity was so fond a thing, something from the past he could look back on (albeit hazily) and not grimace, and not regret. This time, however, Lea found himself wielding two chakrams, rather than two wonky, childish frisbees as he had so long ago.
He caught a corridor of Darkness out of habit –– one might call that cheating... –– and found himself behind the light-footed teen. Lea chuckled again, brows risen and mischief, cockiness and warmth filling his eyes. ❛Watch THIS!❜ His shout was near breathless, but exuding confidence. He bounced back on the balls of his feet, dismissed his chakrams and thrust one hand out.
❛Uh - uh , keep your eyes on me, Rox-- ❜ He faltered, the breath leaving his lungs, the rest of his words choking him, lodged in his throat. Suddenly, he lost his coordination and the summoning of his keyblade failed; stumbling backwards, Lea felt his back collide with a wall, and he let out a low sigh. Way to go...
❛-- let’s, uh, let’s FORGET that just happened, ‘kay?❜ The question was a mumble. He let his eyes flicker from Ventus to the ground and back, before finally staring down at his boots. ❛It’s no big deal, I must be gettin’ tired. You wore me out, I guess!! Hah...❜
