Gaku (Orion) is finally complete. Not in these photos. but he's done! This was a commission for a friend for Katsucon 2019. I've poured all my love for Gaku Yaotome into this one...

The cape is velvet and the trims/bias and detailing are all gold vinyl. The gems are made with resin and have UV pigment in them, so it glows. there's crystals on the bottom of the panel, and along the trim of the shoes. the beads are all glass... and the epaulettes are made of craft foam. I am very tired, this was about a months worth of work!

Now i just need to finish Riku... haha........

made some epaulettes and a costume quickly for a friend

i cant believe i made both so quickly.......wore them last weekend. i will add pics and selfies later.., the hat crests are 3d printed and then are filled with UV resin. they look very cool in person bc they have depth!!! i was too lazy to use acrylic for the edges of the crests so i used nail polish and apparently the green i used for yuki is perfect for raves?! also i hand dyed the cording on his wrist cuffs and i honestly didn’t expect it to go as well as it did. lucky me

i need to make yuki too but momo is done i didnt make the epaulettes so if you ever see me in this, please dont ask me to take the cape off l o l
