Caleb was wondering how long was long enough for him to stay at the party that evening. The way the vampires were feeding much more openly than usual was definitely not sitting right with him because the notion that there might be people here who were not willing victims was not an entirely far-fetched possibility. He did not want to begrudge the vampires for the way they fed either, it would not be a good look for him to do so, and the best option would be for him to leave.
He threw back the glass of wine in his hand, set the empty glass on the table and made a beeline for the nearest exit that would lead him to the entrance and subsequently, the exit, but Caleb found himself colliding with someone in his haste to get away.
"I'm so sorry," he said apologetically and reached out to help the other person who had to take the full force of a werewolf rushing to leave. "I didn't mean to knock you over..."
