Hope hadn’t meant to get like this, but her aunt had a habit of dragging feelings out of her that she liked to pretend that she didn’t have. It was easier to pretend, but one couldn’t really do that with family. “That’s the problem though: everyone else WANTS me to let go. I just never want to do it. I don’t want to let go. Not ever. Does that make me selfish?”

brilliant  color  splashes  against  canvas  ;   deep  ,  dark  blues  harmoniously  melding  with  radiant  reds  ,   bright  yellows   ,    creating  yet  another  mikaelson  masterpiece .  smock  is  stained  by  various  coats  of  paint  ,  for  which  she  is  always  grateful  to  wear  .   tip  of  brush  finds  her  mouth  ,  sharp  teeth  clamping  down  on  the  wood .  she  has  yet  to  decide  what  this  will  become  ,  but  that  was  simply  the  beautiful   part  of  the  journey .  eyes  cerulean  in  color  drift  away  from  the  work  in  progress  .  

 locks  of  fire  are  pushed  back  ,  tucked  behind  ear .  soft  smile  tugs  at  corners  of  her  mouth  as  she  sees  rebekah .  she  loved  her  aunt  very  much  ;  and  was  always  glad  to  see  the  woman  ,  they  had  a  special  connection  ___  one  forged  from  as  early  as  day  one .  ❝  .  .  .   hi  ,  auntie  bex .  ❞   a  name  she  only  used  on  rare  occasions  ,  private  moments .  brush  is  abandoned  ,  focus  entirely  on  the  blonde  .   ❝ ___  i  didn’t  think  anyone  was  home  right  now  . ❞
