❛ we’re gonna survive this, right ? ❜ ( from fi )
askbox fun // @vecindades (fi)
"yes, fi, we are. we’re gonna survive this. you and me both.” in books and movies, this is where someone says ‘i promise’ but udyati can’t promise that. what she can do, however, is fight like hell to make sure that fi makes it out of this encounter alive. so that’s what she’s gonna do. what happens to her is secondary. it always has been.
i picked the petals… he loves me not. ( from cleo )

rikki would have her head for this, udyati was sure, and so would emma. and bella. but zane gave her the icks. and the way his words seemed to burrow underneath cleo’s skin, like well thrown knives hitting their targets time and time again, made her grit her teeth.
the art of dharma-yuddha, righteous warfare, was not a second nature to her but a first. then again, war was never righteous and sometimes rules needed to be bent a little bit.
so when he was distracted, she struck. kneeing him in the groin made sure that he doubled over and by then, udyati was already well on her way to clambering onto his shoulders. she let herself fall backwards and let gravity do the rest.
chilled hands had grasped cleo’s and udyati had pulled her away from a groaning zane.
once they were safe and sound, seated in the living room of the sertori residence, udyati had nudged the mermaid. “something on your mind?”
i picked the petals... he loves me not.
"aw, cleo...” udyati was quick to give her a hug. “...i’m so sorry about that.”
if regular humans didn’t work out, udyati thought, perhaps the brunette would do well to focus on other people with the sea in their veins. like sea witches or pirates. pirates and mermaids, mermaids and pirates or so the stories went, right?
❝ what are you doing here? ❞ ( from mykah )
pls read the legendborn cycle, thx // @vecindades (mykah)
"i should be asking you that,” udyati mutters softly. “i was here first.” ‘here’ being an old, abandoned playground. something that she’s grown out of years ago but keeps coming back to, anyway. “i needed a quiet place to stew, as one does, because everything sucks. a lot.”

The grandiose buildings were originally inhabited by European aristocracy, but their central courtyards later turned into spaces for communal living.
