DPU: Be It Friend or Foe
Closed starter with @wicked-fight Vector Star was investigating a new planet. It was rumored to contain at least one Predacon and he was curious about who this Predacon was. In the universe he was used to being in, the Predacons were extinct. He was a scientist so he believed there were some experiments he could do with a Predacon that would benefit the wars that were raging in the various universes. That or he would invite the Predacon to live on a planet where they would never be bothered again. He had already passed a couple patrols of Decepticons that were trying to track the Predacon down, but he had been able to remain unseen. Which was good since he could barely even defend himself. Thankfully his cross dimensional teleportation device could be used to get him out of most situations. As long as he did not use it too much. If he did then it tended to overheat and become undependable on where it would spit him out. Suddenly the mech froze and slowly turned around. He felt like something, or someone, was watching him. His optics scoured the plant life until he found a set of glowing optics. They belonged to what looked to be a panther that was black with some red highlight. The orange and black mech slowly raised his servos, palms towards the Predacon in a show that he did not mean them any harm. “Hello.” His voice was soft and gentle, just like his blue optics. “I mean you no harm, but the Decepticons are also looking for you near here.” He looked down at the Decepticon insignia on his chest and tilted his helm to the side. “Well the ones that follow the twisted version of my leader at least.” He smiled gently at the being. “I am Vector Star, and I come from a universe where the Autobots are the ones that are evil while the Decepticons are the ones fighting for peace and equality.” Yes, he was taking the chance that this Predacon was not intelligent. Or that they would not believe him. Or that this was not even the Predacon at all and he was talking to a normal organic. Something told him that even if he was talking to an organic that he should remain to try to be peaceful with them.
