Woman on other end: Hi, I don't know if I've got through to the right place, but my old girl took a bad turn for the worse last night and I need someone to come out and (voice breaking) put her down.

Me: Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm not the person you need though, I'm not a vet, but I'm so sorry about her.

Woman: Oh, I'm sorry! This is the number they gave me.

Me: Oh, not at all, no problems but I really am so sorry, you take care.

All day I've been thinking on and off about that heartbroken lady and her old girl, and hoping that it went as easily as possible for both of them. And the sadness of life and that our animal companions are with us for such a short time. And DAMN YOU PERIMENOPAUSE because I have been tearing up about it all damn day.

In my early teens, I used to ship Saimota. Like, I loved these two together so much and I was no fan of Saiouma.

Now, In my early adulthood, Saiouma is my comfort ship and the one I enjoy most RPing. Saimota is pretty much lost in time for me, though I still see cute art.
