tsukishima kei, yamaguchi tadashi | asking him to dance in the rain (pt. 1)
info ; it’s been awhile since my first actual writing post + i thought about writing something new! but i looked through my drafts and found this one which i wrote before quarantine. since i haven’t watched haikyuu in awhile, i want to take the time to get a feel for the characters and their respective personalities + unique qualities again before writing, so i hope for now, the stuff in my drafts will suffice.
p.s ; thank you so much for reading my posts. i was in my first year of uni (late 2019 – early 2020) when i first got introduced to haikyuu, and it made me really happy despite having a rough + stressful time at school, hence why i made this account and to see people liking and reblogging my work means a whole lot. <333
he’d be hesitant at first. after all, he’s really not the type to just leave the house when it’s raining and splash in the puddles.
when you first ask him, he’d probably look at you weirdly and ask if you were feeling okay.
“you know i hate rain, y/n.” either that, or he’d straight up just go back to reading his favourite book or doing his homework.
you’ll most likely end up leaving the house and dancing in the rain on your own. that is until he comes outside and hugs you from behind.
his thought upon leaving the indoors was probably, “damn it! if y/n wants to dance in the rain, then we’ll dance in the rain.”
okay bet that the first thing he’ll say is, “but what if you get sick, y/n? you might end up with a fever.”
he’ll be super concerned about the consequences of dancing in the rain, because he doesn’t want you getting sick or doing anything that would cause you harm. he’s the sweetest.
you’ll have to convince him that you guys will only be outside for a little bit, and if you do get sick, at least you’ll be sick together.
he ends up agreeing though! “but only for 5 minutes, y/n!”
