Secret Santa: Adrian's Boohbah Experience
Merry Christmas Erin! <3
NSFW!!
Adrian wandered about the halls of the school, shoes tapping softly against the hard wood floors. The dark haired boy held a note in his right hand, holding onto it loosely. The note was slipped under his door and was covered in stray furs and sparkles. As flamboyant and creepy as the note was, he did what it asked, “Go to the boys bathroom on the third floor to the right of the main stairs. Wait there for further instructions. -Ana”.
Eric: Leave the academy for some time
Old, rusty pair of shears. Not exactly rusty, but ragged and scratched. They served Eric very well, protecting and defending him all these years, like a parent, a guardian. But every kid grew into something more, in Eric’s case, he chose the wrong path, desiring power for himself, always risking to obtain far more dangerous and strong weapons. It was time to say goodbye to the brass, clockwork shears with a glossy eye in the middle, occasionally rotating, as if it is acknowledging if danger is near. But he wanted something new. Something less shabby and stronger. A good weapon that could serve him for the rest of the short life he has for now.
Eric entered his stuffy chamber filled with weapons and treasures. He was like a dragon. Fierce over the possession of his treasures. He collected them, studied about them, he shared them with people who were close to him, but recent events turned him back into the greedy monster he was. He nearly crawled out of the pit of darkness, realised what he has become and every little sin he committed but he plunged back into it once again, becoming distrustful, ignorant and disrespectful. It was deeper this time, as if a stone weighed him down into the pit. It was danger and his alert about his own existence His anxiety and vast,
unnoticeable fear of not accomplishing his goals and disappearing without any marks left behind. It could cease any moment, even now, when he was closely studying every weapon, thinking about its strengths and weaknesses, he could not find what he wanted. In frustration Eric shut the chamber door behind, giving up on all his hopes for discovering something good. Being desperate he left the academy without a single trace to pick up. As if he vanished.
The destination was somewhere he had not been for nine years. A long forgotten place, which was fuzzy in his memory, like a dream with few clear fragments while everything else remained in blur. It was called home. Where he was born, where his parents lived and raised him as a toddler, where part of his memories were cradled in a sealed box, which he could not access. The atmosphere remained as usual. The streets were dimly lit, you could hear ambient ringing in the air. The whole city gave off a vibe as if it was submerged underwater. Dark blues and greens, abandoned houses, which have been naturally decorated by ivy. Harsh grey cobblestone and inhabitants who were ravens. People did not usually show up. Most of them were dead, the rest did not leave their house in general. The city was full of hidden secrets and every story about each fragment or citizen of it were filled with mystery and mistakes. Eric spotted the usual building, where generation after generation of his/her gained armour and weapons. He meekly opened the old wooden door, which almost has been completely covered by moss with a creak. He saw the usual, large, beady black eyes and dark grey fur. The beast was crouching over something without moving. “Master Ganpart?” Eric meekly asked. His voice sounded stale like an echo. Massive ram-like head, obsidian horns wrapped around two torn ears turned around “Yes, young man?”
"It’s me… Glitch, master. Right now I am bewitched, that is why I am like this." Eric said boldly this time. His speech was followed by a hoarse laughter from Ganpart. "Long time no see, Glitch. It’s been already two years and you managed to loose your eye? In which kind of fight did you get tell me." Ganpart said, sounding welcome as usual. "Have a sit." he pointed over to a little chair with his massive, clawed paw. "I have a lot of stories to tell and I would really like to, but first I would like to see that I am here for a new weapon."
Ganpart was fairly puzzled, before replying “Why, aren’t you pleased with your Shears of Domutique?” Ganpart enjoyed giving his weapons ridiculous, long names based off some legend or a fairy tale. “Well I am pleased-” Eric started, but he was shortly interrupted by Ganpart. “I understand. You want a stronger weapon, don’t you?” it looked like Ganpart perfectly understood what Eric desired, which made Eric feel that Ganpart was indeed incredibly trustworthy. “Yes, Ganpart.” he nodded.
Ganpart got up and placed his enormous paw in front of Eric. “C’mon, hand me over your shears.” obediently, Eric handed over his weapon with ease. “But now, before I am making you a new weapon, tell me what happened to your eye.” the beast p0inted at him.”Well…It is a very long story, so maybe I will cut it short-” Eric was interrupted by Ganpart once again. “No cutting things short. I want to know.” this was enough to persuade Eric.
"I got in a fight." he started.
"With whom?" Ganpart questioned. Goddamn, Ganpart was like a child, even worse.
"With Geitz." Eric murmured. It brought him the old memories back.
"Geitz who?" he asked once again. Eric’s patience was running out.
"Geitz Van Bruden. A kid who foolishly sold his soul to satan himself. He is… Pretty powerful I must say. He is after me. He wants to kill me now, because that was ordered by Satan."
"I see even Satan is after you. I believe you can survive still. Glitch, you are strong enough. You need more to protect yourself."
"I understand that. That is why I am here."
"Not getting fed up of Death yet?"
"No. I am perfectly fine with him and I still wish to become the next Grim Reaper. I want to prove my parents what I am."
"Atta! That’s the spirit, boy." Ganpart clapped his hands. "Anyway, carry on with the story."
"Well that is right… It seemed as if someone gave out my location, which was the academy. Void demons found the academy, they opened portals. I managed to deal with them before anyone noticed. That boy, Geitz went grimdark. I tried to fight him off…" it was time for Eric to start telling lies. He did not want to look weak in front of his former mentor.
"He stabbed me. The eyeball was far too damaged and my eyelids had to be stitched together. Afterwards… Something changed about the way he spoke acted and he attempted to kill me." Eric’s pupil became a thin line, like a pupil in cat’s eye as he continued to speak. "Now I must kill him before he gets me. Or should I wait to see how many more times he will attempt to kill me?" Eric grinned.
"I see you are getting your old spirit back, thief." Ganpart shook his head. "This better be for good. I heard quite a lot about Van Brudens. Their whole deal with Satan."
"Right now I cannot trust anyone. I must play along. Manipulation and control are all the things I need. I believe that everything else will be okay. I am getting far better at controlling my powers. Let’s say I am almost a deity." he smiled.
"Don’t think far too high of yourself. You have way to go." Ganpart croaked. "I will better get on with making your weapon, you can go for now. Return after three days." he swayed his paw towards the door. Eric shut the door behind a turned into a shady alleyway, back into the portal.
