The idea was making vegan Jamaican beef patties. But, I got the wrong pastry. I bought phyllo sheets, when I should have gotten a puff pastry (should’ve made my own). So, these are nowhere need a beef patty, but that doesn’t matter because the filling is so good. And the phyllo is dumb flaky. It works.
