These Vegan Cheez-Its are a healthier and cruelty-free alternative to the classic snack. They're cheesy, crunchy, and so addictive!
Ingredients: 1 cup nutritional yeast. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup refined coconut oil, melted. 1/4 cup water. 1 tablespoon tomato paste. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. All-purpose flour, melted coconut oil, water, tomato paste, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and nutritional yeast should all be mixed together in a large bowl. Mix until you get a dough. Between two pieces of parchment paper, roll out the dough until it's about 1/8 inch thick. Cut the dough into small squares or rectangles that look like Cheez-It crackers with a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Place the crackers on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. The crackers should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Let the crackers cool all the way down before you serve them. As they cool, they will keep getting crisper. Have fun with your vegan Cheez-Its!
