These vegan graham crackers are a wholesome and delicious alternative to the classic version. Made with whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, and coconut oil, they're perfect for snacking or using in your favorite vegan s'mores recipe.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour. 1/2 cup coconut sugar. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2-3 tablespoons almond milk.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put the coconut sugar, baking powder, salt, and whole wheat flour in a bowl and mix them together. Fry the coconut oil and add it to the dry ingredients. Then add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of almond milk. If you need to, add one more tablespoon of almond milk and mix until a dough forms. Between two pieces of parchment paper, roll out the dough until it's about 1/8 inch thick. With a knife or cookie cutter, cut the dough into squares or rectangles. Then, place the shapes on the baking sheet that has been prepared. To make the classic graham cracker shape, poke holes in the tops of the crackers with a fork. Put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. Let the crackers cool all the way down on the baking sheet before putting them in a container that won't let air in.
