Open Invitation - pumpkin tempura, spiced burdock, shredded tofu, tapioca, avocado crema, renkon chips. The first thing we noticed was the amazingly elegant presentation with the renkon chips. And the taste was heavenly. Shizen was even recommended to our non-vegan friends by a non-vegan co-worker. It was after we had it on our list from vegans recommendations. Well you can't book a table, so we had to come, register and in ~40 minutes we had a table, the area is nice for a walk so we didn't mind. Spoiler alert: The waiting was worth it :) Shizen was created by the team of the non-vegan Tataki Sushi and Sake Bar, Shizen was designed to help protect our oceans through a fully plant-based menu.
