Vegetable song thoughts

So I’ve just finished this weeks ephemeral--musings song. The challenge was simply “vegetable.” I decided to use this topic as an exercise to use a bunch of vegetable similes and metaphors.

It is also my first song to have a twin peaks reference! Guessing it won’t be the last since I’ve got like 3 xfiles songs already.

I was originally gonna the title the song as a list of the vegetables that were mentioned in it. But because of the twin peaks reference I kinda want the title to be one too. I am iffy about naming songs something like “song for a (fictional character)” so I quickly scratched that idea out of my head, although I have used a song title like that in the past. Then I realized this character already told me the perfect title of the song!

That’s the story of how this song will not be called “Song for Harold Smith”

It’ll be up on the ephemeral musing bandcamp/tumblr in the next couple days or so, but I think I may upload it here later.
