Roasted #artichoke at @hitchingpost2 in #buellton. Caked in butter and I'm pretty sure that's their special tri-tip seasoning they sprinkle all over it. SOOOO GOOD!!! I've only been to the original Hitching Post in Casmalia all these years, this is my first visit to Hitching Post II. The wonderful people at @workmanpublishing hooked me up with early recipes from The Vegetable Butcher and a box of baby artichokes! I learned to trim them perfectly and made braised artichokes over Parmesan polenta. Highly recommended!
