Letting out a sigh, Adair looks out of the small, grubby window to the pouring rain outside. The day was simply dragging on-- already, he'd spent the morning stitching wounds, administering medication and soothing patients. Nothing vaguely unusual or even remotely exciting. Perhaps the afternoon would not be so tiring.
The medic takes a sip from his flask, flicking through paperwork. Ah-- an appointment. It was a strange thing to find one nowadays. Things were often so busy that the infirmary had become more of a walk-in facility. This was intruiging.
He flicks through the paperwork briefly in his small, cramped 'office' (little more than a renovated storage cupboard, but who was he to complain?). He doesn't mind waiting-- but it seemed unlikely his patient would turn up, given the weather.
Still, one can only hope.
