Probably means he is both used in some way by her and that Boleham is known to Piltover. Maybe it’s a official lordship, maybe it’s joking respect that Veigar is just barely unable to see as a joke, but according to LOR Veigar and Caitlyn do know eachother in what seems like a good enough capacity to be on a “first name” basis.
I mean she is a genius after all. Cait probably figured out how to use Veigar to her advantage, Veigar likely gets to also be seen as very evil considering how magic is seen in Piltover.
Perhaps he does business with Zaun. With Boleham’s copper mine I’d imagine both piltover and Zaun are valued trading partners for differing reasons...hehehe
Maybe Veigar wrecked part of Piltover, maybe he destroyed a whole gang in an effort to show his power and it just looked like vigilante work to the enforcers (as is his luck).
Or maybe he is a legitimately wanted criminal for the fact that Veigar would absolutely be trying to show how evil he was through threats and insane ability to cause property damage and damage to the assumed laws of physics, thermodynamics, and timespace (read his ability descriptions some time and you’ll see that he LITERALLY DOES ALL 3 OF THOSE THINGS)
I’m spitballing ideas here, but what do y’all think?
LeBlanc: How do I deal with my enemies?
Veigar: Kill them
LeBlanc: That's a bit extreme, I was hoping for a more passive solution
Veigar: Kill them only a little?
•
LeBlanc: I was thinking I'd do some magic-
Veigar: You? Magic? LeBlanc, it says talent show.
•
LeBlanc: So that’s my plan.
Veigar: Are you alright with constructive criticism? I don’t want to sound mean.
LeBlanc: No, go ahead, I want to hear it.
Veigar: It fucking sucks.
LeBlanc: That’s not constructive criticism
•
LeBlanc: So what do you do?
Veigar: I work in genetic research, and I'm currently trying to eliminate all Cancers.
LeBlanc: Wow, impressive.
Veigar: Then I'll move on to Leos.
A Secret Snowdown drabble for @veigarthevile. Happy Holidays!
The night was dark, with nary a trace to be seen of the moon or stars. The air was quiet, without so much as a cricket chirping to break the silence. From the window of his tower, Veigar could see a dark shape looming closer. Behind them, a wicked mass of spectral fog followed. How many years had it been, he wondered? How long had he waited for this exact moment, to claim his revenge?
The yordle sorcerer reached out, calling upon the power of the stars while focusing his own hatred. Suddenly, a great stone fell from the heavens, wreathed in violet energy. The meteor struck the dark figure in the distance, but when the smoke cleared, they simply stood up, and continued marching. “Tsch. Fine then... I will devour your soul myself!”
Veigar leaped from his window, tearing a chunk of earth from the ground and using it as a platform. The figure continued moving closer, and now Veigar could hear the heavy footfall of those big, iron boots trampling the ground beneath. Thanks to the yordle’s previous spell, the clouds above began to part, allowing moonlight to shine through an illuminate the form of his enemy: a massive suit of iron animated by spectral green power. Mordekaiser.
The two locked eyes for a moment, before the ancient warlord let out an ominous chuckle. “Veigar. How kind of you to tend to this tower for me in my absence.”
“Silence!” the yordle demanded, raising his own clawed gauntlet to channel energy. “I am no longer your pet. The power of the cosmos bends to my will; to me, you are nothing!” He unleashed the sphere of dark matter, only for Mordekaiser to bat it aside with his mace. Veigar reeled back in surprise, while the Iron Revenant laughed.
“Your magic has improved, but death itself bends to MY will. Observe.” With a flick of his fingers, Mordekaiser commanded several screaming wraiths to emerge from the Mist, all of whom quickly set their sights on the yordle. Veigar was quick to respond to this, however; raising his staff, he summoned rift in space itself, a one-way ticket to oblivion that sucked in the very air around it. The wraiths, too, were drawn into this gaping void, their screams silenced by the blackness of eternity. Veigar closed the rift, and stared down at his former captor.
“Soon, you will join them, Mordekaiser!” The warlord tilted his head, more-so intrigued than intimidated.
“We shall see, Veigar.”
A tense silence filled the air, before both parties began to unleash their spells upon one another. Veigar warped space itself to his will, summoning meteors, blacks holes, and even waves of gravity to strike out at his former captor. Mordekaiser, on the other hand, commanded the realm of the dead and all its magic; from spectral energy he formed barriers, grasping claws, and yet more undead minions to do his bidding. The area around Boleham Tower became perverse with the power of dark magics clashing against one-another over the course of hours, and neither combatant seemed to show any sign of intent of stopping.
Veigar’s size and speed allowed him to evade Mordekaiser’s mace, but the undead warlord kept him grounded by using the mist to wither and decay the ground Veigar might have used as platforms. The yordle could feel the oppressive emotions of the dead all around him; hunger for souls, envy of the living, hatred at injustice of their own deaths... While he was able to drown it out for the most part, there was so much that it made the sorcerer’s head ache. As the night dragged on, the yordle could feel the toll it took on him.
“What is wrong, Veigar?” the tyrant taunted. “Were you not going to send me to oblivion?” Without even waiting for an answer, Mordekaiser summoned a spectral hand behind the yordle, which dragged his tiny foe closer. At the same time, Nightfall swept across the ground, traveling upwards, and struck the small sorcerer. Veigar wheezed as he felt his breath leave him from the impact, and skipped across the ground like a stone thrown through water. “So frail. You’ve come far, Veigar, but your living form shackles you. You’ll make a fine addition to my legions.”
Mordekaiser loomed over the yordle, and raised his mace. “With you by my side, my conquest of the living world shall hasten exponentially.”
“This world is mine,” Veigar spoke through ragged breaths. “And I will bury you beneath it!” The sorcerer channeled all the power he could muster, all his hatred and spine, and raised his staff just as Mordekaiser’s mace descended. The two weapons clashed, and the undead conqueror was surprised to find the might of his swing held back by a field of distorted gravity.
A shadow loomed overhead, and Morderkaiser looked up to see a dark shape rapidly approaching. Another meteor, wrapped in dark fire... Much, much bigger than the any before. It had taken some time to cast, but the yordle had the foresight to start quite some time ago. So, Veigar sought to crush him before he himself was crushed. “Insufferable little-” That was much as Mordekaiser could say, before the meteor struck.
The thunderous crash was heard for miles as Veigar’s spell made impact, decimating the surrounding area in its entirety. Dust and debris kicked up everywhere, and the Black Mist ebbed away thanks to the surge of dark magic pushing it back.
Several long minutes passed, and when the dust finally began to settle, a figure emerged from the crater. Veigar’s outfit was in tatters, and he himself was exhausted. That damnable warlord was nowhere to be found, but as much as Veigar might have liked to believe Mordekaiser had been utterly obliterated, he couldn’t discount the possibility of his foe having fled into the realm of death before impact.
Slowly, Veigar began to hobble his way toward Boleheim Tower, using his staff for added support. This wasn’t over yet... But next time, he would be ready.

anything you have on Veigar, epsecially if you find things pre-scrubbing of the runes off of his staff, would be lovely. If its not a huge pain that is.
//I assume you mean this texture?
Luckily I have been saving rips from the game since I started doing them in 2014 ahahaha. I have the texture file, and I can DM it to you if you’d like. The things I find interesting about Veigar’s model specifically is that you can tell its old, because they used to not T-Pose their models.
His staff is around 1.74 times his height (from the top part of his hat, that is)
