It wasn’t the hardest to make the ravenette cry, or even upset for that matter, especially if someone she was close with was hurt. But as easy as it was to make her feel these emotions, it was five times as easy to make her laugh and lift her spirits.

He must have noticed something was wrong, and a frown couldn’t possibly remain for long on the ravenette’s features with his efforts to make her smile. First, it was the crack of a smile on the corner of her lip, then the shaking of her head as her radiant smile shown itself.

bitterness, rage, contempt came along side desire. the carnal sin of man embodied in one foul swing. blood pooled beneath her feet as she held up the man’s heart-- just when it was getting good. he still had some consciousness-- just enough to watch her eat him still alive. but when it was just getting good-- the staring of someone burned into her skull. it wasn’t her ideal to be interrupted during a meal. but considering the other seemed so content on bothering her. it was only a matter of time.

‘ y’know it’s rude to interrupt someone while they’re eating. that is unless you’re looking for some scraps. the amount of vultures and rats that’ll descend on him-- not too much will be left. so take your pickings once i leave or they’ll have it all. ‘

she could only hear a voice. her sight could barely pull itself together and focus on whoever was calling for her. did she faint? probably. she hadn’t been feeding herself as well as she should have. she had been working too hard again. she wasn’t taking care of herself, perhaps consciously so, though she would say otherwise.

once her eyes were able to properly focus, akahana saw a woman calling for her, kneeling next to her. she grunted slightly and tried to sit up. “yeah, yeah, I’m okay... sorta.”
