Robin didn’t believe he understood the appeal of fried dough or fried sweets in general but, if it was what his son wanted, he could only sit back and wait for Wren to buy his allowance’s worth - and then some. He’d sat down, ready to enjoy some people watching in general, finding the general mood to be cheerful, and couldn’t help but to reminisce to the time of the holidays. Back when the dome had dropped down over their heads, effectively cutting them off from the rest of the world.
Shuddering - his eyes still on the back of Wren’s head, not to let him out of sight - he shifted slightly in his seat, turning his head to a nearby commotion. Either someone had won big, or someone had got into a fight. Hopefully, that would be as exciting as things got, this time around.
