hi tumblr im back with an updated ref of my main self insert for sonic. and all of their partners from shortest to tallest because im insane spectre uses they/shi pronouns!

It's time to get superstitious! Spectre is a well known and extremely powerful witch. If only if they weren't so lazy about it. Of course, you don't get this powerful without paying some sort of price for it. They originally come from the city of Salhain, which is known for it's rich history. Spectre's concept and story started off as a hypothetical 'halloween edition' for the IDW comics, which is where their story would take place. Eventually, Spectre's story has evolved into something a lot more real and personal to me, exploring themes of loss and abuse, and how you can heal from a relationship that (almost) killed you.

hehe GM LUCY. i hope youre day has been well i'll be answering about my sonic self insert and f/os it should be noted that only spectre and amy are dating them all. whisper, surge and blaze aren't dating each other. hence the "transgender lesbian polycule" LOL

🎄 ― is your f/o the kind of person to go all out when decorating the tree or the kind of person to leave it bare ?

amy is more likely to decorate out of everyone. she loves baking after all. i can also see her dragging blaze and spectre into it, but surge would rather sit on the couch and watch and whisper is just a lil too shy

🎁 ― what would your f/o get you for christmas and what would you get them ?

spectre gifts... very nontraditionally compared to their partners. i mean one time they gifted them jack-o-lanterns (which comes from their culture back at the town of salhain, but i'll infodump about that when i fixate on sonic again.) i think spectre's gift would be a feast. they'd spend days and nights on it and not tell anyone what theyre doing so they're all standing in the kitchen scratching their head. whisper would be the one to shrug her shoulders because this is normal for spectre surge doesn't have a lot of experience in christmas and spectre's infinite wisdom about it is dated to the 1800s so its kind of up to amy and blaze to guide them. i think theyd do a white elephant gift exchange. - surge would add. idk this cool ass knife she stole found that whisper would want. - blaze would gift them all something from her empire (which defeats the point of a white elephant gift but it's okay) - amy would give them all handknit sweaters (ALSO defeats the point of a white elephant gift but it's fine she loves all her partners dearly) - whisper would gift a stuffed animal
