connection details: a more scientific / medical presence in jane's life lends credibility to her storyline, but also could prove invaluable to her putting pieces of her past together. she arrived in velgrove with nothing but a trunk some paces away, and three days afterwards a dead body with her face was found in the woods. this is all she knows, but glimpses do come back to her. she doesn't know how to hold on to them, or work with them to reveal more. i'd love to build something really messed up and beautiful both ( medical malpractice notwithstanding ), depending on what your thoughts are! inspiration: behind her eyes, del toro's nightmare alley, and gaslight ( 1944 ). think of magical realism, horror, and thriller all sort of wrapped up in a noir-christian lens.
