I don’t understand why Steven might not come back to beach city? Yes he’ll live somewhere else but he grew up there. Unlike his parents he had a (somewhat) happy life. I mean I would just feel better if he said “I would come back to visit”. But nope.

Rebecca did state in a recent interview he would return several times to visit. Would have been nice if he had said so though, yes.
