30 Days of Ultraman - Day 18: Worst Ultra Kaiju Velokron is a fairly popular and regularly recurring kaiju, but it's just never done it for me. There are hints at a great design in the finished thing, but I dunno... I've just never been one for - in the absence of a better term - floppy suits. I never think they look very good. Velokron also suffers from weapons overkill, as it can open its mouth to reveal... a missile silo. Its dead, unblinking, staring eyes also haunt me. I think a more rigid, coral reef-esque design could benefit this monster, as it's a completely underwhelming thing, especially considering it's the first choju (interdimensional kaiju) of Ultraman Ace, and the fairly high calibre of those that follow it.

This is one Ultra kaiju I wish would take a back seat for a while, and let other, better monsters have a go in the spotlight.
