GoneBurger at Velvet Burger

This was taken last Tuesday, buy 1 get 1 free, naturally I opt for one of the largest burger available on the menu, the Goneburger. 

From the picture above, the burger may seem intimidating at first sight and would assume that the burger will be tough to eat. However, the soft texture of the bun and elasticness of the meat kicks in when I held it on my fingertips, meat juices starts to drip on to the plate as I compress it. 

The burger was so easy to chew and the sauces blended the taste so well, everything about this huge burger feels so soft. At a price of $16, I would say this is definitely worth the try. 

The only thing that the burger falls short is the moisture between the meat patty and the salad at the bottom half. The burger has concentrated amounts of moisture as I made my way to the center of the burger but maybe that’s the case for every burger that was served hot. 

Because I forgot to note the ingredients in the burger the grade given may subject to change if I am to encounter the burger again in the future. I would grade this at a B. The cohesive texture of the burger and very tidy presentation are outstanding as it caught me off guard due to its size.

Great Homegrown Burger @ Velvet Burger! It's a lamb burger with no mutton odor and special beetroot sauce. The burger bread is so soft and light. Overall its fantastic with a big portion. 🍔 #velvetburger #dunedin (at Velvet Burger)
