🎮 world of warcraft LMFAO I've joined a new guild & made new friends so it's been very refreshing and fun! I also started Dragon Age: the veilguard but I'm not very far into it yet!

📚 today I finished reading this fic Post Hoc by AnontheNullifier. Elevator pitch, it's an AU where Wanda/Vision from MCU collaborate on a research project together where they pretend to be getting married to see how many millionaires will send them wedding gifts. But then Tony stark RSVPs to their wedding and they have to scramble to figure out wtf to do. LOVEDDDD it, was so cute and funny and also had so much interesting academic talk in it.

I'll probably be starting Dune next tho! 💪

3- favorite line/scene I wrote hmmm. ooooo so manyyyy. typically they're the lines I use in the chapter summary because I find them the most striking. cuz sometimes you write a line and you're like,"wow, this line FUCKS." then you reread it a few months later, and you still think it fucks. from steel your heart, steal my heart:

Her longing to right how she's been wronged has been confined to her dreams and fond musings to her wizard, except now her dreams mock her, push forward a truth she's not ready to accept: Minthara has done nothing of value to prove she's worthy of one day donning the matron crown, to feel the unnerving yet beautiful weight of hizagkuur metal upon her head. Her idleness could not warrant the luxury of a meticulously shaped headdress of spindly arachnid legs, one that would delicately curl along her temples like a laurel.

I love it visually, and love Minthy musings & her having moments where she questions her self worth because despite her confidence I think she still occasionally doubts herself (cuz everyone does!!), and also i put way too much head canon thought behind this that I don't really get to share!!

I was (still am) really fond of the idea of a drow matriarch wearing crowns with spider imagery. And I was thinking that that maybe each house has its own special crown that visually draws from cultures. Because Gale's god form is very Roman/Greek inspired, love the idea that Minthara's perspective of being a matron with Gale alongside her would draw on that so her crown might be a Roman laureate, but with spider legs hehe.

(Idk if drow culture has something like that to indicate matriarch already - need to read up on drow stuff more but honestly, sometimes I don't know where to start.)

For fanfic end of year asks

1- Fav fic I wrote this year is definitely a toss up between and coincidentally my two most recently finished fics - sending you all my love in a postcard and steel your heart, steel my heart!! They both satisfied a different itch. First one for all that PINING, fluff, and the way I was hyperfixated on writing it LOL. Second one for the character inflection -- just having a fic that wasn't really story driven, just thoughts and emotions hehe

12- Favorite character to write about was definitely Minthara from BG3!! The more I write her, the more I delve in her complexities and tbh I think she's been a fun challenge!

WHAT’S THIS ABOUT A WEREWOLF SHAD X GALE!!!!

It was an idea I had set post-game events, where what if Shadowheart's lycanthropy was suppressed by the tadpole (sort of like how some of Astarion's vampirism traits were suppressed) !!! And Shadowheart was unaware she even had lycanthropy because of Shar purging her memories. So basically her and Gale uncovering this ahem new side to her 👀

I'm like, only 500 words into it so here's the tiniest snippet from it!!
