He said this with no resentment or aggression in his voice whatsoever. It was a simple, polite request, to someone he was having a pleasant enough conversation with up until a few minutes ago; when the hints of an ulterior motive became far too obvious to ignore.
"Surely a beauty like yourself wouldn't bother with some has-been athlete without a good reason. So, from the top, what can I do for you?"
