Lena’s fingers wrapped tightly around the snipers, afraid that if she lessened her grip even a little bit, she’d slip away. It felt like a dream as it was, so she was going to take full advantage of this moment.

“You’re so cold, love,” she murmured softly, rubbing her thumb over the back of her hand.
