saw one(1) post and i've been spiraling since then I'm not,, breaking boundaries without realizing right? people would add tags of '/gen/' or '/srs' if they tell me to stop, right? I can't really.. read tone all that well, I just kind of guess and hope for the best. So like a while back i decided to do a (to me) funny little thing. and at the time i figured the tone was playful and like lighthearted, yk? then that same person now said they genuinely dislike when people do things like that and i fucked up, didnt i? i thought i was getting better with the whole 'interacting with people' and knowing how to read the room, but aha apparently not time to revert to being a lurker full time so i can never make this mistake ever again actually

to the person in question, and whoever else i may have done this to, i am actually very sorry, genuinely. Will not happen again.

is it normal for others to be called lil nicknames? Like I've seen it around more and more things like 'honey', 'pookie', 'sweets/sweetheart' ect and none of them are romantic just lil platonic names but i've??? never seen this used outside of some posts?? im so confused it makes everyone sound so comfy w/ each other but i always cringe back thinking the OP'll hate it but instead am just left confused as the user responds happily even to brand new anons who use 'em like even the user sometimes calls the anon a lil name right back
