As 2017 comes to a close...

I had a realization that I have not done an update in quite some time.

So... I got a job being a high level mathematics teacher at a Christian private school in July!!!

I'm teaching Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics and Personal Finance/Economics.

Livable salary. Really Good Benefits (in my opinion).

School started at the end of August.

My students range in skill, but many want to learn, though many are also quite lazy. Writing engaging lessons is a task.

That's why I have not posted much recently.

I'm finishing up my degree in April/May.

Once I'm done, Beowulf will be finished.

I just wrote a theme song for my lil sister’s YouTube channel. Simple pop-rock ditty. When it is ready, I will post a link to the first video with my song on it.

Focus has been difficult lately.

My gf and I are doing well. Our gifts to one another were adorkable. In the near future, we are gonna try to record a duet... also, after school is over, we’re gonna try out for shows together.

Looking back over old venting posts... I was angry/horny a lot when I first started using this site... puts growing up into perspective a bit...

I have no patience for my siblings and my dad today... And I've only been home since 2:45ish. The boys got home at 3ish. Dad got home at like 4:30. I think the snow day screwed me over a little bit.

I gained 4 followers right before the new year... Probably from the selfies I posted, that were reblogged by the-tie-guy, for which I am thankful. Btw, his blog is pretty cool, you should check it out. I've lost two in the last two days that appear to be older followers... Guess they got bored with my random as fuck blogging. Oh well. My new years!!!

Semi drunk but wanna tell y'all. I chilled with my younger bros, ate snack food, like Bagel Bites and taquitos which are the shit. My parents went to see The Hobbit 3, so i had to keep an eye on the beasties. The parental units got home at around 9. I left around 10:10. I visited with my bestie for a bit. Helped her make some bitching cannoli dip for a pot luck we are going to tomorrow. Then I left for Karaoke at about 11:40ish. Arrived at about 11:50. Then I cheersed with some dudes I didn't know with champagne the waitress gave me... Which was actually decent considering I'm not fond of champagne. Then I had two Dewars on the rocks and an Angry orchard... In the midst of me singing things... After that, I came back home, chatted with my older sis and dad and now I'm in bed. Not all that wxciting, but it was a good night for me!!!

Wow... It's been a while since I've done an update

I've been working at a local urban high school as a teacher's aide for the past three weeks. It has been very interesting. They want me to stay. And by they, I mean the teachers, the students and the child study team. I want to check something at my old hs before I commit the rest of this scholastic year to BCHS. Funny story for this week: I'm walking to one of the classes I work with before the time for changing classes. The teacher in that room lets her kids out early. This kid, let's call D, comes out. Thin, tall, African American guy. Gets in trouble a lot because he lashes out. He has a good heart though. So D is walking down the hallway, talking to his classmates and notices me. He stops talking to his friends and calls out to me, saying, "What's up, mah n-gga!" I couldn't help but laugh as I said "Not too much. I'll see you in 9th period, D."

Good morning, hangover... You obnoxious prick

I went to karaoke after work last night. It was a lot of fun as always. I ate a light dinner like 2 hours before... I should've gotten something else... Anyways, I then had 3 drinks in a 2 hour spam of time. I was fine coming home. Had 2 glasses of water then went to bed. Woke up feeling like I had to puke. I had another glass of water. Still felt like I had to puke so I tried helping it along... And I burp. I generally don't burp, but I've been burping all morning.

Met people...

... But not really. I brought my brother his outfit for senior pictures today. We were the first ones ready. One of the other guys getting his pix taken didn't know that it was only upper body so he had his sisters bring his dress shoes. His sisters, both older than him and attractive, were friendly and obviously bored. We talked about some stuff. One of them mentioned Oklahoma and my nerdy mind thought of the show tune... And I said it out loud. Then a peculiar thing happened... They started singing the song. Then they decided to sing "Boogie woogie bugle boy" in harmony and i was humming the bass line with them... I mentioned how I was in a quartet in hs and the one started geeking out. At the end... I didn't get any connection to them... No phone numbers or facebook. I remembered their names but i couldn't find them. Fail.
