since kim just left him like that do u think they ever got divorced or are they still married in brba
I saw a post about this actually I don’t think they ever got divorced because that defeats the purpose of why they got married in the first place which was spousal privilege I don’t think they wanna lose that just in case there comes a time where they have to testify against the other
why
what is your favorite thing about karachi 😄
Hmmm very tough question but I think even as a kid I knew this was my favorite part of Karachi and it’s this place called Mukka Chowk. I just watched a video on it and it’s basically like Karachi’s Statue of Liberty.
It’s very hard because so many things that once stood for something incredible have been reclaimed or corrupted by money grubbing politicians. Anyway the history of Mukka Chowk when I first learned about it meant a lot to me but I just read something about how it was taken down recently because the last few decades this political party that has caused a lot of terror and violence in Karachi specifically basically claimed this Chowk to represent their leader Altaf Hussain. I’ve forgotten so much about that guy because we literally couldn’t talk about him bc if you were ever overheard talking shit about him and unknowingly were around one of his supporters, it meant you could literally get killed the next day. So we just never ever said anything about him even though people died everyday under his orders. I heard a story about how he literally tortured people by burning cigarettes out on the person’s skin. I’m getting off track but all these memories just came flooding back so I need to tell you about it lol. Anyways yeah basically this guy claimed Mukka Chowk and made it like a symbol for MQM (the political party run by altaf hussain) but when I first learned about it, it actually stood for something so beautiful. Liaquat Ali Khan, who later became the first prime minister of Pakistan, he put up a Mukka (which means fist) in the air as a promise that no matter what we will keep fighting for Pakistan. This was during a speech he gave either before or maybe during partition and it was just basically a declaration that we will not stop fighting to get our own country, away from the violence and murders that Muslims were facing in India everyday. This speech meant a lot to the Pakistani people and that’s why this monument was put up sometime after we did finally get our country. Mukka Chowk symbolizes the resilience of our people. I always felt so happy when we passed by there but it was rare because it was in a bad area and also far from where we lived. Anyways there’s still a monument up there but from what I can tell the Mukka has been removed and rightfully so since there was no way to take it back from MQM anymore, they’re just too powerful unfortunately.
