And Then There Were None by uniquely-sarah on Polyvore
I came back to my room after I found the body of the last person left on the island other than myself. How could I survive here by myself? There was no way off! I was in a deranged state, and complied with the unspoken orders of whoever it was doing these horrendous things to us here on the island. I positioned myself, and kicked away the chair. Leaving no living person on Soldier Island.
"You can go to the rock Cyril..." "That was what murder was- as easy as that! But afterwards you went on remembering... She climbed up on the chair, her eyes staring in front of her like a sleepwalker's... she adjusted the noose around her neck. She kicked away the chair..."
Guilt will eventually consume you.
WHAT?!
Everyone is dead! How can this be? I haven't killed a single soul on this island! I must be going crazy! It's the guilt, just like Wargrave told me. It's getting to me. All I can think of is Hugo, Cyril. There's no way off this island! I'll go mad here by myself with all these dead bodies! I'm already going mad! What am I going to do...?
The Sad Truth
Some of the group that are still alive have accepted that they are going to die. Everyone is spilling there darkest secrets to these people who we've spent less than a week with. Turns out several people actually did commit the murders they were accused if that first night. And no one was afraid to admit it. One was actually relieved to think he was going to die, and be able to take away the burden of his secret. I am determined to get off this island.
Slowly Starting to Understand
That's it! I had noticed an old nursery rhyme from when I was younger, framed and hung in the guest room I was staying in upstairs. Apparently there was one in every room. It was about the 10 little Indians, and the figurines on the dining room table represented the 10 Indians from the nursery rhyme! As each one of us died, a figurine would disappear. This was all a sick game! We were the 10 little Indians, and each murder had something to do with how the Indians left in that rhyme. Our numbers are dwindling.
How Strange
When we arrived on the island, I noticed little figurines sitting in the middle of the dining room table. I could have sworn there were 10 when we arrived, but when I went into the dining room for lunch the next afternoon, I noticed only 7 sitting in the middle of the table. Odd.
Another!
Just as I'm waiting for this boat to arrive another person drops dead! It looked as if he choked on this drink, however Doc insists there was cyanide planted in his glass. I'm certain someone here is trying to kill us all now. The only question is, which one of us is it? And who is worth trusting?
