@veracus liked for a starter!
Getting out and about was key to a healthy life, even if Galekh didn't... really want to admit it. As much as he truly enjoyed cooping himself up in his study for days on end, poring over things he had wondered about for ages, it wasn't the best way to spend his time. And even though he claimed he had been making up for lost time with his study, he eventually figured he needed to stretch his legs a bit. Get some sunlight, as much as his Alternian make wasn't used to it.
He opted for a park nearby. The nice thing about living near the university was the proximity to, well... everything! Where a university goes, the businesses will follow, and the surrounding areas to the uni were filled with many of the places Galekh was already a frequent flier at. Including where he was now - a small, quaint park, dotted with studious attendees of the college next door and others taking advantage of the crisp weather outside.
Normally, Galekh wasn't one to talk to strangers unless he had a very good reason to. He knew he didn't like his privacy disturbed, so of course he'd rather not disturb the privacy of someone else. But... something here caught his eye, and he couldn't help the curiosity that awashed his brain, the piece of art the woman seated on a nearby bench was diligently working on drawing him in and causing him to be a bit more sociable than the usual Xigisi silence.
"I hope you don't mind me saying,"
He starts, paused at her side a few feet away, a curious look on his face.
"But that's a wonderful piece. How long have you been painting?”
