Brendan hadn’t heard from wally in a while. He was told by wally to not worry too much about his condition, so Brendan didnt visit as much to the hospital (maintaining contact via text of course)
But he missed wally, he wanted to see him not visiting for a while... he hoped the virus didnt spread too badly on him.
He got out his pokenav and pulled his name up on the screen, “wallywall” with little hearts surrounding it.
“God im so gay” Brendan said, chuckling to himself.
---> Hey Wally, its been a couple days and I wanted to see you! I kinda missed you a lot actually... champion stuff is still rly boring...
In N’s travels he actually found a curiosity to visit Hoenn. He had actually made plans to make a stop at the battle Maison since it was an esteemed vacation area for trainers. It was very well renown even in Unova. He figured after all the tireless searching his pokemon needed a break anyhow. A chance to do more than what they had been for the couple months.
After getting them excited and hyping them up he made way for the Hoenn region. It would prove to be a long trip but he was more than ready to take some time to actually relax for a change. Hopefully his mind could wander and become at ease on his task at hand, at least... he hoped.
Upon arrival at Slateport city he was quick to pick up a map, It gave a small description of every town next to their names. Fortree city caught his eyes since well “A city where the houses are all built into trees” He could go there and go straight to the Maison afterward so why not. The region wasnt that large anyway, at least not the land area.
It took him a while to get there by flying, especially since he wasnt familiar with the area, but he knew it when he saw it and landed immediately.
“Wow.. this sure is different.” He said with a light smile
This definitely isnt anything like in unova, unova was a mostly town filled region, big buildings and large residential areas. This was just a small town that was connected by treehouses and bridges that connected those. Seemed like a nice little community with a gym in the middle. Something about it was just.. charming.
He decided to take a look in the nearby shop, maybe pick up a souvenir or two before checking out the gym.
When he entered he greeted the clerk with a smile and said he would be quick.
He scanned up and down the few aisles until he came across a young lime haired individual, with what looked like a nasty bruise going up the side of his face. Despite looking so concentrated on what he was looking for he decided to try to strike up conversation instead of bumping past into him to scan the same area he’s looking at.
“You need any help finding anything in particular friend? I can help if you want?”
Ahh, how cute! Molly bent over to inspect the little blue creature. It seemed nervous, though. “Don’t be scared,” she said softly to the creature. Of course, seeing someone appear above her, she was soon the one startled and shifting back. “U-um, I’m sorry!”
Wow. Ok, all right, ok, I don’t really have the whole thing posted anywhere, do I? Since I’m nearing the end of the “Before” run, I guess I’l try to plonk it all down hold on to your butts.
Ok so, my muses are short and magical and have a magic cafe all that stuff you can read in the actual about tag, but here’s a timeline of events that aren’t directly laid out in threads. But they are the ones I’ve let slip. Cause there’s actually a lot I haven’t told anyone yet.
In chronological order-
Mint raises the four Pierre siblings into teenager-hood before switching over to free-range parenting. Beth is slut-shamed all her life, Ryo is treated like a freak of nature, and Chris is outright ignored save for his basic physical needs.
Ryo develops the Skimmer bike to help Gata reach the other worlds Mint told them about, hoping to find any trace of their people, as no sign of civilzation is left on this home planet. Mint enchants the front door to do much of the same thing so he more control over who enters or exits but the damage is done and Gata begins his adventuring. Angry at being left behind to care for their younger brother, Beth opens the On The Wing cafe, both as an act of defiance against Mint's sexist opinions and as a tourist attraction for people who accidentally walk into their house.
Gata adventures, meeting a great number of fantastic people on a decent number of other worlds, but never finds any hint as to where his people may have gone. Among them are the Kamen Riders, whom he comes to idolize. His return visits to his home usually involves trying to convince Ryo to come along, which don't work. It isn't until Gata starts bringing his new friends home with him that Ryo and Beth both decide to venture out into the worlds as well. Beth discovers a lot about herself and her sexuality, gaining confidence and expressing herself like never before. Ryo, on the other hand, finds more "proof" that he is something that shouldn't exist and retreats further into his shell. Gata develops a crush and starts to realize that a lot of the things Mint taught him, especially pertaining to sexuality and romance, were completely bogus. Chris starts secretly sneaking away from home to have his own adventures.
Anons begin gifting them things from worlds not yet traveled too, among them several magical Artifacts that peques Mint's curiosity and lust for power. More on that in a second. Chris meets and befriends a great number of ghosts, angels, and spirits, showing a surprising amount of knowledge in the topic for someone so young and sheltered. His contacts soon include a number of psyonic children about his age, and while his friendships may seem random, he makes them with a purpose.
Mint finally finds the perfect victim- a Kamen Rider Gata befriended. He blackmails her into helping him destroy Gata's confidence, claiming that he wants to protect him. The plan works and Gata, tricked into thinking that it was his own failure that lead to his friend's terrible fate, stops traveling and falls into a deep depression. Mint then lies to the concerned Ryo about the culprit, sending him on a mission to kill any and all Kamen Riders as revenge. In reality, Mint needs Ryo to engage the Riders in combat, only because he wants to unlock the powers of the HellFruit Lockseed, but is unable to figure out how it works. Assured in his success, Mint gets sloppy, assuming Ryo will succeed, Gata will stay vulnerable, and anyone else will stay out of his way. Chris steals the artifacts, including the HellFruit Lockseed.
Ryo attempts to kill the Kamen Riders, but the first one he attacks is surprisingly reasonable. A member of a ragtag family of Riders and not-rider Cyborgs, he does everything in his power to help Ryo locate the Rider who hurt Gata, which sends Ryo for a bit of a tailspin. Confronted with infallible evidence that neither Riders nor Cyborgs were all as evil and destructive as he'd been lead to believe, Ryo begins to question Mint's guidance, and notices a great number of holes in the Wizard's story. Mint, meanwhile, finds the magical relics he'd acquired from the Anons to be missing and can only assume that Ryo was the cause, as his magics somehow were unable to pick up on Chris being in his workshop.
At this point, Ryo and the Riders he's befriended have figured out who was involved in the mysterious event that caused Gata to be effected so drastically. With Gata's crush magically forgetting everything about him, Gata has fallen even deeper into his dispair. Beth remains unaware of the problems that plauge her family, as she actively snubs any proper interaction with them as retaliation for their "abandoning" her for their own adventures, and Chris has hidden himself and the HellFruit lockseed deep within Mint's secret caverns, waiting for just the right moment...
This doesn’t quite mention everything, though. We still don’t know where Gat’s stomach scar comes from, or why he’s so paranoid of being stabbed. Chris continues to make reference to a “Mr. Kitty,” and while nothing Mint says can be taken seriously at this point, he continues to speak of a something, or someone who is coming to do the siblings harm.
The end of this blog’s lifespan is quickly approaching, and there’s still answers to be given. I hope you’ve enjoyed this blog during it’s run, and that the finale will be as enjoyable to read as it is for me to write. :3 Sorry for the confusion, friend.
