She was different from the other Fae. Born apart from them, born of death and war. She was a different breed from the other Fae. They where life givers, bringers of hope of truth. Yet she, she was made for a War that would never truly end.
The other Fairy’s avoided her, occasionally mortals would try to seek her out to learn, to know, but never for simple company. IT was to be expected, mortals had an odd perspective on time constantly trying to do rather then wait and learn. She knew this, understood this, and accepted this.
Yet even she could not fully hide from the weight of loneliness. She would never admit it of course, after all it was to be expected from an ageless being. Yet all the same...
She sighed, and rested gently on the tree stump, flourishing with life around and inside of it as she let herself relax. So lost in her thoughts she almost did not feel the familiar presence of one of her Kin. Another Great Fae, brimming with life. When she came into view she could not help but let out the slight laugh, was she ever that young?
‘Vesna, you are rather far from your fountain no? I would hurry back, your Fairy’s might miss you.’
