I TOLD MYSELF I WASNT GONNA MAKE THIS POST but here we are... (this is part my honest thoughts and part shitpost, not cause these arent actually my headcanons but the silly nature of this post is what makes it so shitposty)
Vergil tail headcanons
The spikes/scales on it can "flex" like how a pissed off cat can puff up its fur, and when this happens you can see glowy areas under the ridges
It wags sometimes but he just acts like it isnt cause hes embarassed about it looking too "animated", remember this is vergil we are talking about
It's also prehensile meaning he can slap you with it if he wanted
It can hit surprisingly hard
Its VEEERY sensitive to touch, God forbid you accidentally brush against it. You might get an aforementioned tail slap if you do
The end curls when hes happy, pointed when alert, swaying when he sees something interesting... but again, he'll try his best not to let this happen if hes not alone
Like how he grooms his hair he will pick anything out that gets stuck in the ridges
